Autism Spectrum children often have tremendous difficulties with even the slightest change in their routine or schedule.  At Westview, the teachers use a multitude of strategies, such as Picture Exchange, (PECS) and social stories, to help the children understand what their schedule for the day will be.  These strategies also help to communicate any disruptions or changes to their schedule.
