Middle School

The Middle School was opened in the fall of 2004 when it became apparent that for many children with high functioning autism there is no educational placement in the Greater Houston area that will provide them with a challenging academic middle school curriculum while attending to their special social needs.

Our Middle School offers a low student : teacher ratio, a highly individualized curriculum, and a structured and quiet environment free from bullying and taunting, where students' self-esteem continues to grow.  Language arts, math, science, computer skills, social studies, and living skills are included in the daily schedule.  Ancillary classes in music, art, and drama are part of the curriculum.
