Annual Fund
Each fall, Westview holds an annual giving campaign to raise funds for operating expenses.  It is Westview's desire to never turn a child away who needs our help due to financial problems.  Tuition covers only 72% of our operating budget.  It is for this reason that our annual giving campaign is so important.  Anyone can make a contribution to the annual giving campaign.

Annual Dinner/Auction

This fall, the Parents of Westview hosted a dinner and auction on November 7, 2009 at The Westview Schol.  The proceeds from the auction go to the school's Continued Faculty Excellence program.  The annual auction is a great community building event and is widely attended by parents, friends, staff and alumni.  Plus, it's a lot of fun!

Annual Gala

The Westview School’s fourth annual gala will be held on February 20, 2010 at the InterContinental Hotel. We celebrated Westview’s 28th year of educating children with autism, as well as honored Catherine and Walter Christopherson—dear friends, alumni, and long-time supporters of the school!

Today, 1 in every 100 newborns will be diagnosed with autism. These children and their families face many challenges in dealing with this puzzling, lifelong disability—not the least of which is the high cost of therapy and education. The Westview School is the only school in Houston which specifically addresses the educational and social needs of autistic children ages two through fourteen.

The school is challenged each year with maintaining a modest tuition while employing, retaining and providing additional training for qualified staff members. While the tuition remains low, many families are not able to afford the specialized education necessary for their children, so we offer financial aid for those in need. Proceeds from the gala fund both our Continued Faculty Excellence and our Scholarship programs.
